For the Chicken and Gravy:

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 packet (1 oz) dry chicken gravy mix

  • 1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch seasoning mix

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

  • ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter (optional, for extra richness)

For Serving (Optional):

  • Mashed potatoes

  • Steamed white rice or buttered egg noodles

  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker in a single layer.
Season lightly with garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.

Step 2: Mix the Gravy Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, chicken gravy mix, ranch seasoning mix, and chicken broth until smooth.
Pour the mixture evenly over the chicken. Add a tablespoon of butter on top if you’d like a richer sauce.

Step 3: Cook Low and Slow
Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is very tender and easy to shred.

Step 4: Shred the Chicken
Once cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken right in the slow cooker.
Stir everything together to fully coat the shredded chicken in the thick, flavorful gravy.

Step 5: Serve and Enjoy
Spoon the chicken and gravy over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
Garnish with chopped parsley for a pop of color and freshness.

Notes

Use Low Sodium – Using low-sodium broth and soup keeps the dish from becoming too salty.
