Instructions
Step 1: Preheat and Prepare
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Set aside.
Step 3: Combine Wet Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
Step 4: Mix the Batter
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
Step 5: Bake the Bread
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 55–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Step 6: Cool and Serve
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
Notes
- Use Pure Pumpkin Puree: Avoid pumpkin pie filling, which has added sugar and spices.
- Don’t Overmix: Stir until just combined for a tender texture.
- Check for Doneness: Insert a toothpick—if it comes out clean, your bread is ready.
- Make It Ahead: The flavors deepen after a day, making it even more delicious!
