Ingredients

Scale

For the Lobster Ravioli:

  • 12 oz lobster ravioli (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon salt (for boiling water)

For the Lemon Butter Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • ½ cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter version)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For Serving:

  • Extra grated Parmesan
  • Fresh basil or microgreens (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Lobster Ravioli

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a gentle boil.
  2. Add lobster ravioli and cook according to package instructions (usually 3-5 minutes).
  3. Drain and set aside, reserving ¼ cup of pasta water.

Step 2: Make the Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter.
  2. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  3. Stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, heavy cream, Parmesan, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  4. Simmer for 2 minutes, stirring continuously, until slightly thickened.
  5. Add reserved pasta water for extra silkiness (optional).

Step 3: Combine & Serve

  1. Add cooked lobster ravioli to the skillet and gently toss to coat in the sauce.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan.
  3. Serve immediately with a side of garlic bread or a crisp salad.

Notes

  • Use Fresh Lemon Juice – Enhances the brightness of the sauce.
  • Don’t Overcook the Ravioli – They cook quickly and should be tender, not mushy.
  • For Extra Creaminess – Add an extra tablespoon of butter at the end.
  • For a Seafood Boost – Stir in lump crab meat or shrimp.
