- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
For the Cheesy Rigatoni:
- 12 oz rigatoni pasta
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter version)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
For Garnish:
- Extra Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Rigatoni
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Cook rigatoni pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup of pasta water if needed.
Step 2: Cook the Steak Tips
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil until hot.
- Season steak tips with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes.
- Add steak tips to the skillet in a single layer, searing for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium, melt butter, and stir in garlic and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 30 seconds, then return steak tips to the pan.
- Toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce and cook for 1 more minute. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley.
Step 3: Make the Cheesy Rigatoni
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and pour in heavy cream.
- Stir in mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper, whisking until smooth and creamy.
- Add cooked rigatoni, tossing to coat in the cheesy sauce. If too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time.
Step 4: Serve & Enjoy!
- Plate the cheesy rigatoni and top with garlic butter steak tips.
- Garnish with extra Parmesan and fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Use High-Quality Steak – Sirloin or ribeye work best for tender, juicy bites.
- Don’t Overcook the Steak – Keep it medium-rare to medium for the best texture.
- Use Freshly Shredded Cheese – It melts better than pre-shredded cheese.
- For Extra Spice – Add a pinch of cayenne to the garlic butter sauce.
