- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat & Prep
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
Step 2: Add the Cherries
- Pour the cherry pie filling into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Step 3: Make the Batter
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter. Stir until smooth.
Step 4: Pour & Bake
- Pour the batter evenly over the cherry filling. (Don’t stir—it will bake into a delicious, upside-down layer!)
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
Step 5: Cool & Serve
- Let the cobbler cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream!
