Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prep

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.

Step 2: Add the Cherries

  1. Pour the cherry pie filling into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.

Step 3: Make the Batter

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add the milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter. Stir until smooth.

Step 4: Pour & Bake

  1. Pour the batter evenly over the cherry filling. (Don’t stir—it will bake into a delicious, upside-down layer!)
  2. Bake for 40–45 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.

Step 5: Cool & Serve

  1. Let the cobbler cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream!
