- 1 (20 oz) package frozen or refrigerated ravioli (cheese, spinach, or beef)
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese (optional, for extra creaminess)
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with olive oil.
Step 2: Layer the Ingredients
- Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of the baking dish.
- Arrange half of the ravioli in a single layer over the sauce.
- Spoon half of the ricotta cheese (if using) over the ravioli and spread gently.
- Sprinkle with ½ teaspoon garlic powder and ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning.
- Add ½ cup mozzarella cheese and ¼ cup Parmesan cheese.
- Repeat with another layer of sauce, ravioli, ricotta, and cheeses.
Step 3: Bake the Casserole
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Step 4: Garnish and Serve
- Remove from the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle with fresh basil or parsley.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
