Tips for the Best Strawberry Crunch Cheesecake Cones

  • Use Fresh Whipped Cream – It makes the filling extra light and fluffy.
  • Freeze the Cones Before Filling – This helps keep the cheesecake cold and prevents soggy cones.
  • Make Them Ahead – Prepare the cheesecake filling and crunch topping in advance, then assemble when ready to serve.
  • Use a Different Crunch – Swap Golden Oreos for shortbread cookies or graham crackers.

Storage Instructions

  • Refrigerate: Store filled cones in an airtight container for up to 1 day (best eaten fresh).
  • Make Ahead: Keep the cheesecake filling refrigerated and assemble when ready to serve.
  • Freeze Not Recommended: The cones can become soggy when thawed.

1 thought on “Strawberry Crunch Cheesecake Cones”

  1. Family liked the flavor and novelty of this dessert! Cheesecake filling was delicious and the white chocolate on the cones enhanced the presentation. The addition of jam added to the flavor.
I made some modifications with what I had on hand – white almond bark for the white chocolate chips and Great Value Strawberry Creme Filled Sandwich cookies with crushed Crunch Berries from the cereal for the crunch topping. Did not use freeze dried strawberries.
Here’s what we decided we wanted to change for next time:
    – Use the larger sized waffle cones, (wanted larger portion).
    – Add a dollop of the almond bark inside the cone, to coat the bottom end (was dry at the end).
    – Layer the ingredients like a parfait, using filling, more fresh strawberries, crunch topping and repeat.
We will make this again! Easy handheld dessert; thank you for the idea!
