Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter (natural or regular)
  • ½ cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup rolled oats (quick oats work too)
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (dark, milk, or dairy-free)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Mix the Ingredients

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and egg. Stir until smooth.
  2. Fold in oats and chocolate chips until well combined.

Step 3: Shape & Bake

  1. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  2. Flatten slightly with a fork or the back of a spoon.
  3. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden.

Step 4: Cool & Enjoy!

  1. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  2. Serve warm or store for later!

Notes

Use Creamy Peanut Butter – Natural peanut butter works, but stir well before using.
For Extra Sweetness – Add a splash of vanilla extract.
For a Nut-Free Version – Swap peanut butter for almond or sunflower seed butter.
For Chewy Cookies – Let the dough chill for 10 minutes before baking.
